“Poor in spirit”— is that weakness or strength?  At first glance, it may sound like lacking value or confidence, but that’s far from the truth.  Being poor in spirit means recognizing our deep need for God, letting go of pride, and depending fully on Him.  We will explore why this kind of poverty is actually the door to the kingdom of heaven.
