When we say yes to Jesus, we become pure and righteous because of His sacrifice.  And just like at Pentecost … God’s presence can now come and rest within us, because Jesus’ sacrifice has made us an acceptable vessel.  Jesus is the one who makes this possible and baptizes with the Holy Spirit.
