When we take part in the discipline of communion (share in the sacrament of Eucharist – giving thanks and praise for the wonderful things of God), we remember and honor the body of Jesus … the offering of a life laid down by the only one who could be an acceptable and perfect sacrifice for all of God’s imperfect creation … and we will remember and honor Jesus’ blood … the only blood that when we are marked by it in confession of who He is and what He has done … saves us, cleanses us from our sins, and frees us from the bondage and slavery of that sin.
